We’re still alive and kicking! It’s just that all of us are also rather busy with our lives including yours truly who is attending her very first year of grad school in San Francisco but I guess we’ll try to make some effort to keep this page going.

Thanks for enjoying the page and feel free to ask more questions without necessarily being anon!

So far Google and Goodreads have not been much help, so I thought I might try asking here. Inspired by the "We need diverse books" campaign I'm trying to read a bunch of horror stories with diverse protagonists and authors, but I am having the worst time trying to find any latinx horror authors! The best I could do was J.F. Gonzalez and César Aira. I found a few more, but none of their work had been translated so I couldn't read it. Would you or your readers have any book suggestions? Thanks!!!

I don’t read a lot of horror, so I’m leaving this one open. Readers?

Hey! We just made this series about 5 witches that mysteriously get powers and have to deal with them and each other. Three of our main stars are Hispanic! Gabriela Banus (Cuban) Carina Perez (Mexican) and Chelsea Jones (Columbian)!

Hi! I'm a TA for a free online class from Stanford University on international women's health and human rights. The course focuses on critical issues, namely those that may mean life or death to a woman, including: being born female and discrimination; poverty; unequal access to education, food, paid work and health care; and various forms of violence. We hope to create an international network of engaged students and would greatly benefit from the voices of you and your followers. Starts Friday
