Hi! I'm a TA for a free online class from Stanford University on international women's health and human rights. The course focuses on critical issues, namely those that may mean life or death to a woman, including: being born female and discrimination; poverty; unequal access to education, food, paid work and health care; and various forms of violence. We hope to create an international network of engaged students and would greatly benefit from the voices of you and your followers. Starts Friday

Latinas can also still be white, so submit away.

For that person that asked about Brazil being part of latin america: honey, the term "latin" is because portuguese and spanish languages came from latin language, and so does the french of French Guiana and Haiti. So you see... Yeah, Brazil is part of Latin America :P

I just found you guys, but I have to say that I am THRIIIIILLED that America Chavez is on the header! (Easiest latina cosplay ever, y/y? I still wear my jacket I made, like, all the time.)

Yay!! America Chavez is the best, and I’m glad we have fans of hers following this blog.

It’s so wonderful to see other Latinas cosplaying America. She’s such an important character, such good representation. She’s on my cosplay to-do list, but I’ve never quite gotten around to her (even though it’s such a simple costume).

brazilians are latinos?

I’d say Brazil makes up a pretty big chunk of this map of Latin America, wouldn’t you? :)
